7 Million Jigawatts unique style of rock and soul infusion will have you on your feet moving. Performing hit songs you know and love along side originals penned by members of the group, they are a treat for the senses. Their unique style of music and the talent of this band has caught the attention of Ford Motor Company. Their song, “I’ve Got You Covered,” is featured in the online advertising campaign for the 2010 Mustang.
This band is also very involved in the community. Every year, they take time out of their busy schedules to help raise awareness and money for breast cancer. In 2009, they were chosen to kick off the Hard Rock Café’s Pinktober Breast Cancer Awareness Month national campaign in Detroit.
The five diverse members forge a unique blend of Rock and Soul unique to Detroit and 7 Million Jigawatts including but not limited to the influence of Janis Joplin, Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, and Aretha Franklin.
Established in 2003 7 Million Jigawatts peforms over 100 shows annually satisfying clients and patrons all over the Midwest.
