A light and contemporary acoustic guitar/vocal duo,The Attention Mongers, features Jake Tobias & Melissa Behring. Formed in 2001, this duo performs a wide variety of songs you know and love. They cover hundreds of pop, classic rock, jazz and country songs. Melodies that ring true as classic anthems from great bands like the Rolling Stones, Jewel, The Who, Sublime, The Beatles, Lady GaGa and Feist, just to name a few.
They are favorite performers at resort communities from Mackinac Island to Chicago, Petosky to Put-in-Bay and across the Midwest.
As experienced entertainers, in their Acoustiokee show, these two bring their own live music twist to popular culture’s favorite pub past time. Audience members are encouraged to participate, shed their karaoke crutch, and sing their favorites. Their supper club performances feature hits by greats like Frank Sinatra, Patsy Cline and the Temptations. They know how to engage a multi generational audience.
